There is always comfort in the herd, in numbers. But to be a beast of prey means to solitary, cunning, and remorseless.
Modern man loves comfort and security, and since he lacks everything in the way of heroic values, he will raise up comfort and security as his highest ideals. To believe in equality means to believe in the primacy of the lowest common demonominator, to glorify weakness, and to possess a hatred of everything that is strong, beautiful and good.
