ResponderExcluirOne of the reasons for being (selectively) misanthropic is precisely this: Everything is fake, nothing is genuine. Especially in democratic circles - left, center and right - and in the world of fame.
And trust me, the democratic farce is MUCH BIGGER than what you think, believe, and even know to this day.
Basically, people are deceived and betrayed from birth to death by the most diverse institutions - private and public -, so-called "references," "idols," fake-dissidents, influenciers, religious leaders, etc...
They sometimes just get upset with each other over the share of victims they each want to be entitled to. But what unites them, in a substantial and transversal way, is getting money and/or fame in a competition to see who is the best at deceiving and/or betraying the victimized citizens.
