In my (still-existing) nation, it’s the same thing.
But it comes as no surprise to me. This has been going on for 50 years, ever since the tragic 25th of April, 1974. Not only do they lie every single day—they lie every day, multiple times a day.
As I have said repeatedly, democracy is, quite literally, a dictatorship of lies. This statement of mine is not a matter of opinion; it is a fact.
