"Devastating economic data puts France's per capita product below the European average.
The 2026 budget, approved by the French Parliament on Monday, offered little reason for optimism among those who had hoped for fiscal discipline.
Instead of cutting spending, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu's government opted to substantially increase taxes, adding €6.5 billion to the tax burden on wealthy families and €7.3 billion to corporate taxes.
Public spending, which already exceeds €1.7 billion and is among the highest in the developed world as a proportion of national wealth, will increase by a further €38 billion this year.
Incredibly, the French state now spends more, as a percentage of gross domestic product, than the Soviet Union did on the eve of its collapse."

I imagine the fury that will grip the police officers when they realize that:
-More taxes = less money in their pockets.
-Real inflation above 20%, and projected to increase much more = even lower purchasing power, and extra substantial portion of their savings evaporated.
-Increased retirement age = working more hours, days, weeks, months, and years.
-With ever-increasing population replacement + popular dissatisfaction = they will be the ones who have to deal with the increasingly disrespectful and rebellious Kalergians.
What they should reflecte on is:
Was it worth the persecution and repression over the Radical Nationalists?
No...
