NEW: 🇫🇷🚨 An Afghan migrant was arrested in France on Thursday for the suspected sexual assault of a 5-year-old Dutch boy in the toilets of a motorway service station.
Police were called to the Fontbelleau services near Bordeaux at around 3 p.m. to find the 27-year-old suspect being restrained by the son's father.
The child had reportedly told his father the suspect touched his genitals while he was alone in the toilet. The migrant was subsequently arrested and remanded in custody.
According to French media, the suspect was legally resident in France after submitting a resident permit application that remained valid until next year.
