Throughout our long history not a single great ascent has been accomplished by the majority of the population, but always only by an extraordinary person or a few extraordinary personalities. The masses always follow the path of least resistance, that is, always follow the strongest side. It is important to work with the masses, educate them, influence them, recruit comrades from them, but you cannot count on their resolute spontaneous support until our small minority independently creates a force more powerful than that of any opposing group."
