Two Dutch police officers were injured in clashes with a crowd of demonstrators protesting in Geldermalsen against a project to accommodate about 1,500 asylum seekers in the town, near Utrecht. The march was attended by over a thousand people, and dozens of protesters threw bottles at officers, who in turn have made numerous arrests.
Dutch patriots sent a clear message:
