"France: Kalergi's hordes damage fire truck after pelting personnel with stones
On Saturday evening, firefighters in Limoges were attacked by a group of people who hurled stones at them and ended up damaging one their vehicles.
A firefighting brigade from Haute-Vienne was responding to a call that came in around 9:30 pm in the district of Mas Jambost in Limoges when the attack took place, France Bleu reports.
Firefighters were busy extinguishing a motorcycle fire when individuals began hurling projectiles at them, smashing their vehicles windows and mirrors.
Luckily, no firefighters were injured.
“Incivility last night, as with other departments, the Limoges [firefighters]were the target of projectiles on a fire vehicle that was on call in a neighborhood of the city. A window has been broken,” the Sapeurs-Pompiers (firefighters) 87 fire brigade wrote in the Facebook post alongside photos of their damaged vehicles.
“Last night the firefighters of the main rescue center of Limoges Mitout were the target of thrown stones. Incomprehensible and intolerable act. Total support to the teams,” brigade officer Jérémy Lavergne tweeted.
An investigation into the attack has since been launched.
Physical attacks on firefighters, police, and emergency services by kalergi's hordes are on the rise in France and throughout Europe. The French media has described these attacks as “the new normal”."
