"Anchor Baby Raped 10-Year-Old Girl In Arkansas
FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KNWA) – A Siloam Springs man is behind bars after police say he raped a 10-year-old girl. The Siloam Springs Police Department said Jose Garcia-Chicol, 33, was booked into the Benton County Jail on Monday. He faces a charge of rape (two counts).
Police said the victim came forward on Saturday to speak with authorities. On Sunday, police interviewed Garcia-Chicol, and he denied all of the accusations against him. He was later arrested.
A check of the suspect’s criminal history revealed he had none, police said. His bond has been set at $75,000, and his next hearing is scheduled for January 22, 2018, jail records state.
*According to jail records, Garcia-Chicol has already been released on bail."
