"UPDATE Suspect in Stuttgart sword murder was a fake ‘refugee’
The ‘Syrian’ migrant who was arrested last week after he hacked a man to death with a sword in the middle of street in front of dozens of onlookers was using a fake identity to claim asylum.
According to a report by the Austrian news outlet Kronen Zeitung, the alleged murderer has been identified as 28-year-old Issa M. who posed as a Syrian in 2015 when came from Turkey to Germany as an ‘asylum seeker’.
According to his brother, however, Issa. M. was not born in Syria but Jordon.
The gruesome murder, which occurred in Stuttgart last week, was captured on video and while the incident was taking place, Issa M. can be heard asking the victim, “what did you send to Berlin?”
This has fueled speculation that the murder may have had something to do with his fake identity being discovered by the victim Wilhelm L.
A man who was friends with both the alleged murderer and victim has further reinforced this idea, saying that the victim Wilhelm L. had informed German authorities about Issa M.’s asylum fraud.
The brother of Issa M. has also said that his brother purchased a fake passport in Turkey which stated that he had been born in the Syrian city of Dara. The truth, however, is that Issa M. had been born in Jordan.
Fake Syrian passports have proven to be quite an issue for German authorities since the migrant crisis reached its peak in 2015. German authorities are powerless to stop the asylum claims of tens of thousands of migrants using fake Syrian documents, the Daily Mail reported.
German authorities even admitted in 2016 that they had allowed in migrants with fake documents despite having been aware that the documents were fraudulent.
Up until the grisly murder, Issa M. had lived a relatively normal life. He had met an Arab woman living in Germany, whom he married under Islamic law. Later the two eventually split after he beat her.
After moving to Stuttgart, he worked at a McDonald’s where he would meet the victim. Issa M. reportedly told his brother that his roommate and later victim had been making his life hell and that he would, in turn, do the same to him.
This murder is just the latest committed by a migrant in Germany and comes just days after the disturbing murder of an eight-year-old boy who was pushed in front of a moving train by a North African migrant."
