"Brussels police officer says we are at war with immigrant youth

This is a partial translation of a Belgian magazine’s interview with policemen following recent riots in Brussels. We’ve made it a monologue to fully focus on what is really happening in Belgium’s capital. Let’s listen to the police:

We constantly clash with young, lefty judges who believe that we are racists

We constantly clash with young, lefty judges who believe that we are racists. The leftist anti-racist “don’t want to know” government policies are causing the extremely frustrated Brussels police to lose the street war. The police chiefs do not dare to take risks. They have no experience with enforcement of the law. They are supposed to be capable of leading a squad in a street war but are more likely to need a change of underwear when faced with a street battle situation.

A few years ago, I was present when black youths attacked us in the Matongé district. We were given the order to remain standing while the stones flew around our heads. I assure you that your blood boils when faced with this kind of cowardly leadership.

The relationship between the police and the public prosecutor has never been so bad

When a demonstration by the immigrant community recently passed through our police district, the police chiefs considered removing the logos from the stations as these could be seen as provocative. That is the mentality. Even if we had arrested 50 criminals during these riots, they would all have been released the next day.
The relationship between the police and the public prosecutor has never been so bad. We constantly bump into young, leftist judges who believe that everyone police officer is racist. You have to continually arrest the same criminals and bring them to the courts to allow the judges to release them once more.

Ninety percent of what we do makes no sense

This is our daily experience! I have arrested hundreds of criminals in recent years, but I do not believe that 10 have been in jail for more than a few days. Ninety percent of what we do makes no sense. We work in an environment of total impunity for criminals. Police recruiters prefer to hire 5-foot-tall female “sexologists” and psychologists. Former Army types are discouraged from applying. They want a peace and love police force that mediates and calms the situation instead of one that criminals fear.

A Moroccan colleague who joined the police at the same time as we did was recently on vacation in Italy. She was arrested with her Moroccan boyfriend when three kilos of cocaine and heroin were found in her car. She was jailed in Italy for a short spell. When the officer returned to Brussels, she was allowed to keep her job. Despite being an international drug smuggler, she was neither fired nor suspended and retains access to all police databases.

We had a Moroccan colleague in our district. No one trusted him. He did exams to become chief inspector. One day he stormed into our police station and attempted to strangle a female agent. Other officers had to restrain and drag him off the woman. A normal police organization would have immediately fired him. Instead, Brussels transferred and promoted him to serve as a chief inspector in another location! He leads a group of agents who have demanded prayer rooms in the stations and refuse to shake hands with women or follow their instructions.

All police action against ethnic minority youth is classified as “racism”

According to the author of the book “Soumission” Michel Houellebecq, Brussels is closer to the brink of a race war than any other European capital. The Brussels police agents quoted in this article say that they are already in a street war with immigrant youth and that the police are losing badly."
